Renee Mellas
Administrative Assistant. Account Executive. Leader. Entrepreneur. President. Group President. Renée has worn many hats over the course of her 30+ year career, but the thread that runs through it all is her competitive spirit and will to be the best. Renée has 3 core tenets to her management approach: we sell creativity; we do not have account services, we have account management; and we handle the client’s money as if it were our own. Renée is not only President of McCann Health NY, she’s a Group President responsible for Area 23, Area 23 on Hudson, FCB Toronto, and McCann Health Canada (with offices in Toronto and Montreal).
Tim Hawkey
In healthcare advertising, Tim Hawkey is known as many things—creative innovator, raconteur, relentless optimist, and just plain relentless (to name a few). And while no one person can be all things to all people, everyone who knows Tim can agree on one thing—there’s no one quite like him. As Chief Creative Officer of McCann Health NY, Area 23, Area 23 on Hudson, FCB Toronto, and McCann Health Canada, Tim isn’t shy about letting it be known that, when it comes to healthcare advertising, so much more is possible. "Do what scares you," Tim espouses to his creative teams. He believes that a great creative idea should challenge the customer and clients alike, even if that means implementing a little shock and awe from time to time. "If they don't stop and notice you, then everything you're doing is just a waste of time."
Scott Caristo
With deep experience in both senior account management and strategic planning roles, Scott has led collaborative, cross-functional communications teams to build some of the world’s biggest power brands. From the CPG space to complex and fully integrated DTC/HCP businesses, his focus is on building and leading high-performing teams that drive strong client engagement and agency output. As one of our senior Client Business Leads, he currently heads up one of IPG Health’s largest fully integrated accounts out of McCann Health New York.
Daryl Somma DiSalvo
Daryl is infinitely interested in how people think, feel, and behave when it comes to their health. She leads a team of insatiably curious Brand, Experience, and Social Science strategists, who constantly grapple with questions that drive our understanding of why people behave the way they do and how brands can optimally respond in ever-changing environments. Daryl holds a master’s degree in International Public Health with a focus on Medical Anthropology and has over 15 years of experience in health research and strategy. In addition, Daryl is a lead author of McCann’s recent Truth Central study: The Truth About Doctors in the Time of COVID-19.
Toni Dufour
Toni describes herself as a magic maker. As Chief Growth Officer, she is responsible for driving business development, external marketing, and agency culture, which often requires her to pull a rabbit out of her hat to make things happen. Her 20+ years working on both the client and agency sides of the business allows her to strike the right balance of strategic leadership, brand marketing, and client understanding to get the job done right.
Kathleen Gillooly
Unique to Kathleen’s business management background is her track record of bringing digital and analytics innovation to clients as one of our Client Business Leads. She has led many launches across categories, customer groups, markets, and competitive scenarios. Kathleen has been in pursuit of omnichannel excellence throughout, beginning with the emergence of attribution modeling to ROI-based engagement frameworks and the launch and organizational rollout of marketing automation platforms, and more recently, innovations in modern, data-rich segmentation approaches.
